This year we will be dedicating extra time to studying PSHE. PSHE stands for Personal, Social and Health Education.
Personal, social and health education (PSHE) helps to give children the
knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy
and independent lives. It aims to help them understand how they are
developing personally and socially, tackling many of the moral, social
and cultural issues that are part of growing up. The kinds of questions
that might come up in PSHE include: How can I show kindness? Why do
we have to eat vegetables? How can I make new friends?
This week all three Year 4 classes came together to discuss what are their likes and dislikes. They also tried to find friends who like the same things as them.
